Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdares National Park
In early morning you will pick up from hotel reception by your driver and driven to Aberdares, the third-highest mountain chain in Kenya (standing at approx. 4,000m). This solid mountain range is particularly well-known for their dense, remarkable forests and its wealth of game. The timber forests here are interrupted by moorland landscapes and multi-tier levels and through lush trees one can catch sensational views of Rift Valley and summit of Mt. Kenya. This forest is truly a hidden world of wild animals. “Tree hotels” are a set of spectacular safari lodges which are located high on the mountain at the crown of trees and overlook a water holes and natural salt leakages. At night, one can see multitudes of game emerge from forest to visit this clearing. This is ideal possibility for guests to observe the game inconspicuously for long durations of time. Overnight accommodation is in Treetops Hotel.
Day 2: Aberdares to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you will be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you will have lunch in Lake Nakuru Lodge before enjoying an afternoon safari. Around Nakuru Lake you will find many antelope, rhinoceros and lions, as well as thousands of flamingos. Overnight accommodation will be in Lake Nakuru Lodge, which hosts a fantastic view of the lake.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Reserve
After breakfast depart for famous nature reserve, Masai Mara, located on northern outskirts of Serengeti. After arriving around noon, you will enjoy your first safari through this amazing animal park. You will be accompanied by a professional guide who not only is an expert in driving Landcruiser through African savannah, but is also very familiar with this region so as to give you best chances of seeking out the “Big Five”. Overnight accommodation is in Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara Reserve
Enjoy two game observation excursions in Masai Mara protected area. Overnight accommodation is in Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara Reserve - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi.
